Xiuwen Qi
Research Associate
Xiuwen is a graduate student in the Master of Architecture program at UCLA. She grew up in China and completed her bachelor's degree in surveying from City University of Hong Kong in 2015. Since then she has worked in construction management on a variety of retail and residential projects. She has a strong interest in urban studies where she can leverage design and research towards spatial justice, sustainability, and resilience. As an architecture student, she enjoys learning about people, their cultures, and dynamics in the local communities. Her current research centers on housing issues in California.
