Miranda Hirujo-Rincon

Miranda Hirujo-Rincon is a third-year in the Masters of Architecture program. She grew up in North East L.A. and completed her BA in Architecture and Community Design at the University of San Francisco. She is interested in community-oriented design and architecture that works towards a more equitable future. She views architecture as a natural response to life and believes that architects and designers have a responsibility to design with sensitivity and empathy to the conditions around themselves and their projects. She is in constant observation of the world around her and finds inspiration and motivation in the movement of life and the built environment in which it carves out. Her past research has included gentrification and migration.
