Building on our Schoolyard Housing research, cityLAB looks to our own backyard to propose new solutions for old dorms - and beyond. Fitting In, Fitting Out explores the diverse stories, motivations, and desires of "nontraditional" students and students who experience extreme commutes. Currently underserved by dorm life and existing campus resources, we seek to understand these students’ unique situations and explore speculative design opportunities to better their campus experience.
