Cameron Phillips
Research Associate
Cameron Phillips is a native of Los Angeles and believes in a creative and community-led planning process. Her current research explores the impact of land use decisions on low-income communities of color and how to create economic benefits in Los Angeles’ environmental justice communities. In her previous role as a research assistant at Liberty Hill Foundation, her work emphasized the role of community-based organizations in local planning and the importance of community engagement through all phases of project design and completion. Cameron holds a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a BA in English and Political Science from Mount Holyoke College.
